My book

When I had reached a point of recovery I started to write down my story. It was partly therapy but also a promise I had made to myself. When I was at my lowest point I decided I was going to be the happiest version of myself I could be and I would write down my story, how I went from darkness to the light.

Today my motivation is to publish a book that gives readers hope. That gives readers who are suffering from mental illness a perspective on how the road to darkness and out from the darkness can look like. I want you to know that there is a way out, regardless if you are suffering or someone you know is suffering.

The book starts with my crash, the months after when I was diagnosed with depression and will guide you to the causes of my pain and my joy through overseas travels, sustainability studies, career choices and of course love. What it is to be loved and what does it mean to be seen, accepted and loved as you are? Not at least by yourself.
